It’s been awhile since Talkin' Tourism on Florida’s Treasure Coast (and Beyond) has checked out the golf scene so who better to speak to that popular activity than Bob Baldassari, general manager of PGA Village located in Port St. Lucie, Florida!  PGA Village is home to the world famous Ryder’s Cup Trophy, Historical Center Golf Museum, Center for Golf Learning and Performance Instruction and much more.  In addition to updating our listeners on what’s new at PGA Villages, Bob will share his insights as to the “state of the golf industry” in our current economic times, not just locally but regionally and statewide as well. Also, he’ll share the planning for the 4th Annual Patriot Golf Day National Opening Ceremonies and John Shimkonis, PGA Memorial Golf tournament.  Is there a PGA/Bahamas connection?  Of course there is. April 26: Aviation Tourism and Golf Tourism

Guests lined up for this week's show are Jean Ballou from Galaxy Aviation and Bob Baldassari from PGA Village in St. Lucie West.

Topics will include aviation tourism and it's economic impact upon the Treasure Coast. If you don't know what a 'fly-in' is, you'll know after Friday's show. David may also give more information on the two-day VNA Stuart Airshow, which attracts thousands to Stuart's Witham Field every November.

This week Talkin' Tourism host Gary Guertin has planned a show that focuses on Spring Training and 'Green' tourism. This week's co-host is Ed Griffith, general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Hutchinson Island Oceanside/Jensen Beach (who'll share some exciting news about the Italian Baseball team).

Our lineup includes Paul Taglieri, director of operations of the New York Mets; Joseph Patton, the new development director of the Florida Oceanographic Society; and possibly Bob Baldassari, general manager for PGA Village.
